    1. i think it's important you refer to it as soft. so often it is perceived in its harshness, but this is only half the truth.

    1. roxana, our mothers planted corn in our hair. our lovers walked our fields roughing our husks open. sometimes we've done this even to ourselves. and then there is winter. can you imagine another spring?
