existence, part viii (form as root?)

we are just spirits trying to be here

  1. this? where, ollie? i want to say, temporarily, but really i must say, i have no idea. i have the feeling that what we think is a mask to what is real.

even my title, i wanted to write (and did) that form is root, but really isn't spirit root? but even this is too simple. it is less two dimensional, one thing threaded through the other in planes we do not know how to comprehend - yet.

i think of sitting beside the river the other night with james. i saw so much! and then i shifted perception and i saw things that i never knew existed before, certain kinds of reflections that i had missed the previous moment, and then when i knew they were there, oh, i could see multitudes of them. it must be like this, something we don't know how to name or understand, but the relationship, the knowledge, the reality is right there for us to see, only we don't know how to name it - yet, and in this way, without the language, we don't know how to see it either.

what do you know, ollie? what do you sense? certainly what you know and sense is important to me.)))

  2. A strange image made in a way magistale and highly film. Likely that this photography strikes the imagination of numerous Internet users photographers or the others. Bravo!

    1. it struck me as film-like too and in its way i suppose it is because it relies heavily on light but it was a simple moment, a simple and (for me) gorgeous moment. i was drying my hair in the morning and noticed if i moved to the right an inch my vision would be cut apart with the sunlight through a window overhead, a little left and all returned to the mundane reality.

always, we must remember to shift a little left or right to break free of the mundane and move into the light.

thank you for coming by. what is your name?

    1. william, actually it is a line that i misheard from a song. it is supposed to be we are just spirits trying to be human from the alexi murdoch song, Shine. my god, it is a gorgeous song. truthfully, alexi murdoch himself is gorgeous. well, i've never seen a photograph of him but that has nothing to do with it, does it? (the video can be seen here if you copy and paste this address but if you do, for me, please skip the add http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AP36oIfnsyk wtf? alexi murdoch and adds? i suppose god would sell space on a billboard if he could. perhaps he does. perhaps that's why there is so much sky.)

"Words at the limit of hearing, attributable to no one, received in the conch of the ear like dew by a leaf." (philippe jaccottet) or even a quiet presence is appreciated))
