not a pretty picture. not a good. not a bad. picture. but an argument.

i am incredibly ignorant
each next season lies like an impossibility beyond the door
imposibility, see?
and so when it comes
i am shocked
and humbled

we got a foot of snow yesterday, at least that much more to come today
to think of a violet breaking ground!

oh, the tenaciousness of life!

  1. is this ignorance? is it not wisdom, is it not a kind of presence? to be that shocked, to be that humbled?

each next season is absent, yes? we're looking to be present.

this picture speaks to me , the child i am. may i chase butterflies outback, may i?

a foot of snow. we had rain yesterday, to help with the melting. today was sunny. i took some pictures. maybe i'll show you one or two.

  2. i'm not sure what it is, andreas, but it does seem odd. i get overwhelmed.

yes, git. go out and play.

    and yes, please, share.

  3. Lovely thoughts~
The photo looks like an oil painting~ beautiful!
